We have a team of specialists who are experienced in teaching science in Primary School and Early Childhood Learning settings. Some are qualified teachers, others are trained scientists with expertise in a variety of areas. All are wonderful with children, are skilled at leading hands-on science workshops, have had thorough background checks and hold current working with children cards.
A personalised presenter for your class or group, setup and cleanup of the venue, all materials and equipment, a certificate for each child, a PD certificate for each teacher/supervisor, and further activity ideas. During many sessions children make a science toy to keep.
Rest easy, our sessions are safe. We only choose the safest of activities without compromising on fun and learning. We have public liability coverage for further peace-of-mind. All our workshops have calculated Risk Assessments which are available on request.
We are registered with Sam4Schools Risk and Compliance Management System – https://www.sam4schools.com.
We currently operate within primary schools and in Early Childhood Learning settings in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland. We offer a personal teaching service just for your grade.
Holiday programs, OSHC and other speciality group sessions are also available – please inquire.
Our online workshops are available Australia-wide.
We need minimal space and resources from you, just these few requests:
- Six tables for students to work at
- A presentation table and floor space to accommodate the class in front
- Access to a tap and sink
- The use of a rubbish bin and electrical power point
- Access to the venue 30 minutes prior and at the end of the session for setting-up and cleaning-up
- Parking as close as possible to the venue
We ask that teachers help with the supervision of sessions. You might be surprised with what you learn too – a perfect professional development opportunity!
Our classroom workshops align with the Australian curriculum, and topics cover biological, chemical, earth and space, design and technology, and physical sciences.
