On the Move – Forces in Action

  • Level: Suitable for Foundation to Level 6

  • Duration: 60 minutes

  • Delivery: via Zoom video conferencing

  • Numbers: each workshop is capped at a maximum of 30 learners

  • Adult supervision recommended

Activities

  • Make a homemade Cartesian diver

  • Explore the concept of inertia with some classic experiments

  • Predict the result of a simple experiment on air resistance, then test that prediction

  • Observe Newton’s Third Law of Motion using the power of air
